Previous work

Complex installation

Guided and supported a medium scale theatre through the implementation and go live of a complex sophisticated ticketing system where clarity about priorities and authority was required.

Advised against too big a step

Advised against the adoption of a multi organisation complex ticketing solution for two small London arts organisations and instead supported the selection and implementation of an individual organisation solution as the next step.  Subsequent re-evaluation may support a more complex solution as the organisations develop their skills and experience.

Advised a larger step

Undertook a feasibility study into developing a large scale ticketing operation for a large Museum, advised that the project should be expanded to incorporate membership and some fundraising  activity and to cover all venues that the organisation ran.  Project Managed the successful procurement and implementation of the system and new department.

Gave confidence and supplied structure

Supported a large scale theatre in the North of England though installation of a new system and gave the Box Office and Marketing Managers confidence in their instincts, whilst providing a robust rigorous structure to the selection and implementation.

Assessed risks and balanced conflicting requirements

Explored and structured the ticketing system procurement for a medium size arts centre through unpicking multiple requirements and identification and assessment of many risks: technical, political and financial.  Guided the organisation through procurement and contract negotiation.
