Multi organisation best practice research
Undertook large scale research both in Australia and Scotland into current and best practice for Box Office Managers, considering staffing, management skills, use of ticketing system, web ticketing and integration to the rest of the organisation.
Training needs analysis
Devised and ran a training needs analysis for a team within a Welsh theatre following restructure and significant organisational change. Supported the organisation through providing the identified training efficiently and effectively.
Organisation wide understanding of relevant KPIs
Worked with a cross departmental team for a north of England producing theatre to explore appropriate KPIs for an organisation two years after reopening following refurbishment. Considered the current knowledge throughout the organisation of actual audience behaviour and constructed a short list of important indicators. Guided the team through gathering, interpreting and presenting the results.
Staff survey
Devised and ran an in-person interview and anonymous organisation wide staff survey for a mid scale south of England receiving theatre following significant changes. Combined the findings and presented them in a constructive and incisive way so that lessons could be learnt and proposed refinements adopted.
Data analysis
Constructed a framework for comparison of anticipated audience behaviour with actual behaviour and then undertook analysis of the ticketing system data and presentation of the findings in a palatable and impactful way for a combined art gallery and theatre.
